Description

A fine 18th Century engraving by Anthony Walker after Rembrandt. The Biblical scene shows and angel departing from Tobit and his family. The engraving has an inscription in plate at the lower edge with the artist's name, dedication, publisher's details and date and the coat of arms of Nathaniel Hone. On laid laid to board.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. The original plate lines are in tact. An area of abrasion to the laid in the lower left quadrant.
