A fine watercolour en grisaille depicting a rustic cottage scene. An elderly woman spins wool on her spinning wheel to the right of the composition while her little cat warms itself in front of the fire. Presented in a wash line mount with gold detailing and a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed to the lower-left edge. On watercolour paper.Condition
There is some very slight foxing to the painting and some minor marks to the mount. There are some scuffs and scratches to the frame.
