Condition
Signs of wear consistent with age. Light soiling to the surface of the painting and discolouration to the varnish layer. A patch repair can be seen to the reverse of the canvas. Inspection under UV light reveals minor overpainting in areas of the composition. Age related wear and small chips to the gilt effect frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
