Albert Kinsley was a landscape painter of woods, moors and rivers in both oils and watercolour. He was born in Hull but was brought up in Leeds. When he was 24 years old he moved to London where he became a drawing master.
He exhibited extensively from 1881 and was elected RI in 1896.
