An impressionist landscape painting by Al Murphin depicting a tranquil coastline with palm trees in the foreground overlooking a bay dotted with sailing vessels. The artist has employed a palette of ochres, greens and soft blues, creating an atmospheric composition that captures the beauty of the Orient. Well presented in an elaborate moulded frame with foliate corners. Signed to the lower left. On board.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the varnish layer and light dirtying to the surface. Minor wear to the internal slip and corners of the frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
