A delightful landscape scene depicting the Sussex Downs. Original double sided label is attached to the reverse of the frame, it appears to have been taken from the original frame. Written in the artist's hand "The Sussex Downs from Washington by Agnes E. Foreman. With much love to Katherine". On the reverse "Cousin Aggie gave me this picture in 1960. I think she said she had painted it in the late 1930's. Katherine H****".
Well presented in a cream card mount and gilt effect frame. Signed.
On watercolour paper.The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and very minor foxing.
