Description

A fine pen and ink copy of the original 1829 painting by the renowned artist, Edwin Landseer, showing a handsome dog sitting in his master's study. The drawing is unsigned and presented inserted into a wove mount which has been inscribed with the title at the top and an inscribed quote at the bottom. There is a blind stamp to the lower left of the mount card, dating this drawing to the early part of the 19th Century. On wove in a card mount.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.
