A study of a Rathore Rajput, or a member of clan found in Northern India. This watercolour is based on a series of paintings by A.C Lovett illustrating the Armies of India. Well-presented in a crisp white mount and gilt effect frame. Unsigned. Inscribed in graphite to the reverse with the title. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some minor discolouration. Marks and minor scuffs to the frame.
