Contemplating his predicament, the driver of the wagon looks out upon an expansive landscape view while his horses and loyal dog wait beside him. Well presented in a silver and gilt frame. Unsigned. On canvas.

Condition

Signs of wear consistent with age, including discolouration and areas of craquelure. There are two canvas tear repairs, and inspection under UV light reveals areas of overpainting. Marks and scuffs to the frame. Overall, the artwork is in good condition for its age.
