An 20th century impressionist oil depicting a mother and child on a beach, the artist has clearly taken inspiration from French impressionist Claude Monet and his beach scenes. The composition bears a similar resemblance to Monet's beach paintings, and his studies of women and children. Painted on canvas laid to board. Signed illegibly.

Paint loss to the upper right corner, and areas of re-touching to the faces. The painting has been finished with a shiny varnish.
