A charming study after Italian artist Antonio Amorosi. A young girl holds a small treat just out of reach of the spaniel settled in her lap, her downward glance and half smile giving the scene a gently playful intimacy. Signed with a monogram and dated '1862' to the lower left. Presented in a wooden frame with a gilt running pattern to the window. On board.
Condition
Light markings from a previous frame to the outer edges of the board. Light wear to the frame. The artwork is in good condition for its age.
