Having lived in both the heart of London (Pimlico) and the leafy suburbs of St Albans, Wilson poured his love of these places into his work; this collection is filled with snap shots of London's parks and architecture and colourful, rural scenes of St Albans. Clearly influenced by Impressionism, Wilson seemed to view the world through a softly focused lens, which lends his paintings a gentle, nostalgic feeling.
This collection comprises of architectural views of cities, rural landscapes and several Impressionistic portraits.
