A charming coloured etching after a painting by A. Ostade. Inscribed to the lower edge Inscribed with Solomon Prov. chapter 17: 'Better is a dry morsel and quietness therewith, than a house full of sacrifice and strife.' Signed. Presented in a fluted gilt frame with berry and leaf details. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some light surface marks. Some light scuffing to the frame.
