A Very Fine Late 19th Century Watercolour - Continental Church on a River

Description

Laid to backing board. This is a very well executed and delicate watercolour, showing a church (possibly Italian) on the shore of a large river, with boats in the distance and figures in the foreground. Unsigned. On wove.

Condition

There are some very minor areas of foxing and some wear to the sky, with an area of restoration to the upper centre. The colours are still crisp and strong though.
