A pair of fine and interesting early or mid 20th Century ornamental designs in watercolour, with gilt details. Reminiscent of Owen Jones' 1856 book 'The Grammar of Ornament', both of these designs are presented in card mounts, and remain vivid in palette. The larger drawing measures 26.3cm x 22.8cm and the smaller 21.6cm x 21.2cm. Unsigned. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some surface discolouration and dirt. The smaller circular design has some minor water staining.
