A fine group of eight graphite studies showing various rural scenes of rolling landscapes and trees. Several are studies of a grand manor house from different angles set in its expansive grounds. The others have churches, cottages and lakeside houses. Two drawings have been inscribed and signed indistinctly in the lower left corners. They have also been dated, one 1833 and the other, 1827. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is dirtying and some transference of graphite on the surface.
