A fine early 20th Century watercolour landscape view by the artist A.E. Rowe, depicting an English village with a church, river and ancient stone bridge. The artist has a delicate technique, and the work is well presented in a washline mount and thin gilt wooden frame, as shown. Signed to the lower right corner and dated 1911. On watercolour paper.
Condition
In very good condition overall, with some minor discolouration and mount burn, expected for a picture of this age. There is some trapped dirt behind the glazing.
