Description

A charming and delicate portrait depicting Mrs Delgairns, wife of Captain Delgairns. She is shown seated by a large window with a small poetry book in her hands. Part of a pair of portraits, the other depicting her daughter Lizzie Ornsby née Delgairns. Unsigned. Presented in a gilt frame.

Condition

There is evidence of very light foxing. Wear and scuffing to the gilt frame.
