Collection Information
These drawings and watercolours form a diverse collection. They were found in an album which we think was assembled in the 1940's by a collector. There is no real theme to the album. Almost everything dates from the 19th century. Few are signed. Several items are attributed, presumably by the person who assembled the album. We have no further provenance. We saw no reason to keep the album intact and have tried to assort the contents into rational groups as appropriate. Some of the items are of very high quality indeed. Collection Code 18Za
