A very fine and meticulous watercolour study with gouache details, depicting a family of grouse, with very young chicks. The artist has used minute brushwork in this delicate composition, balanced with details in the distance, in order to produce this anatomical study. The picture has been laid onto a mount. Unsigned. On wove.

In fine condition overall. There are some minor surface marks to the picture and the mount.
