A stand out late 19th century gilt picture frame, complete with swept rails, shell and acanthus ornamentation, and floral and foliate mouldings.

The overall condition of the frame is very good. Natural but stable cracking can be seen on all rails and the gilt is starting to flake in areas. There is a small moulding loss to the lower left ornament.
