A very fine pastel portrait of considerable size, showing an elegantly dressed woman with huge amounts of character. The artist has captured so much of the sitter's personality in this portrait, with her tilted head and soft smile, she appears to be listening to someone talk as she smokes her cigarette. The artist has signed illegibly and dated to the lower right corner. The drawing has been presented in a smart oak frame with glazing. On textured wove.Condition
