This charming watercolour scene transports us to the back streets of Cannes, France. The winding stairs of the old town street leads past stone houses up to a clock tower. In the foreground a woman carries a wicker basket and a boy perches next to his donkey on a wall. Unsigned. Titled and dated verso. On paper laid to card.

Some light wear to the upper border of the painting.
