A remarkably vibrant mid 19th Century portrait of three young children, seated on the grass under a bright blue sky. The two older children sit behind the younger who wears a white dress and bonnet and holds a blue flower aloft with a wide eyed smile. The artist has signed indistinctly and dated to the lower left corner.
