A fine large bird's eye maple frame which can be dated to 1845. There was an artwork originally in this frame dated 1845 which has been been removed for re-framing.

outer frame size: 83.5cm x 68.1cm
Rebate: 69cm x 53.8cm
Both lower corners of the frame have had patch repairs to the veneer, and there is evidence of old water damage in one corner. The gilt slip is showing its age and with slight water damage to the gesso in one corner.
