A dynamic and semi abstracted street scene in impasto oil. Two figures can be seen silhouetted in a darkened archway. The artist has dated and signed illegibly to the lower left and the painting has been presented in a gold frame with a linen slip. There is an inscription at the reverse, possibly in French. On canvas laid to board.
Condition
There is some undulation to the canvas. The frame has some surface scuffing and denting and there is discolouration to the linen slip.
