A vibrant oil landscape by Yves Becon (1907-2004), depicting a picturesque view of Trouville Sur Mer from the River Touques. The composition employs loose, expressive brushwork throughout, with a dramatic sky of swirling blues, reds, and yellows. The painting is well presented in a complimenting gilt effect frame. Signed ' Yves Becon' to the lower right. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some light dirtying to the canvas. There are two small pin holes to the upper left and right hand corners. Light wear to the gilt effect frame. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
