Description

A charming watercolour painting with gouache details by the artist William Wilde. The scene depicts a landscape scene with resting sheep. There is a label on the reverse inscribed with the artist's name and title. Well-presented in golden card mount and in an ornate gilt effect frame. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and very light foxing. Some marks and trapped dirt to the mount. Small scuffs and marks to the frame. Some losses to the moulding details and small areas of restoration to the frame.
