Description
A fine rural mezzotint with hand colouring showing a thatched inn with the sign of a magpie, in the countryside by the sea, where a man on a ladder is laying fresh thatch, a companion holding the end of the ladder, while another man sits on a dark horse, a stick under his arm and sprig in his hatband, holding another, white, horse with a sack over its back labelled, while a boy in an apron walks up carrying a full bowl. The title, publisher's details and artist's details are inscribed in plate at the lower edge.
On wove laid to board.
