A charming late 19th Century watercolour study by artist William Tatton Winter RBA, depicting a rural path leading to a farmer's yard and windmill. Signed to the lower right-hand corner. The painting is well presented in a gilt-effect frame with corner and centre ornaments. Mounted on white card. Glazed. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame has had several small moulding losses on all side. The overall condition of the picture is very good.

Artist Biography
William Tatton Winter was a watercolour painter of the natural world. Many of his paintings faithfully represented nature, such as moorland scenes, heaths and parks. He was especially interested in the effects of weather upon the environment and, in particular, wind.
