The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The original plate lines are in tact. The frame is in fine condition.

Artist Biography
William Renison was born in Glasgow but later lived in Auchterarder, Perthshire. He was a prolific etcher of the Scottish countryside, exhibiting 39 works at the Glasgow Institute, 4 at the Fine Arts Society, 2 at the Royal Academy, 4 at the Royal Scottish Academy and others at Liverpool, Manchester and Ireland.
