A fine etching of Ely Cathedral well presented in a washline mount and gilt effect frame. There is a signature beneath the mount. On wove.Condition
Overall the condition is very good. Minor discolouration to the substrate and faint foxing.

Artist Biography
Glasgow born painter, etcher and engraver who exhibited at the Fine Art Society, Royal Academy, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Hibernian Academy, MAFA, Walker Art Gallery and at the Paris Salon. An etching by Renison entitled 'The Bargate, Southampton' is illustrated in Colour Magazine, December, 1917.
