Artist Biography
William Renison (1838-1938) was born in Glasgow but later lived in Auchterarder, Perthshire. He was a prolific etcher of the Scottish countryside, exhibiting 39 works at the Glasgow Institute, 4 at the Fine Arts Society, 2 at the Royal Academy, 4 at the Royal Scottish Academy and others at Liverpool, Manchester and Ireland.
