William J. Phillips ARCA - Original 19th Century Etching. The Fisherman's Cottage at Chideock, Dorset. Artist's proof etching, signed in pencil to the lower right margin, and signed in the plate to the lower left. Presented in a washline mount and simple wooden frame, Inscribed to the reverse with title, artist and 'Artist Proof'. Phillips exhibited1898-89 (inscribed verso). Signed. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. The frame has some very minor wear but is generally in good condition.
