A dynamic watercolour depicting sailing boats and larger ships off Spithead, which provides the safest approach for large crafts entering and leaving Southampton Water. Spithead is also the location of the Fleet Review, a parade where the monarch reviews the massed Royal Navy. Well-presented in a blue mount and gilt frame. Inscribed with the signature and title to the lower left corner. On watercolour paper.
Condition
Some minor foxing but otherwise in very good condition. There are some mild scuffs to the frame but overall it is also in very good condition.
