William Henry Atkin Berry (1856-1932) was an architect, stained glass designer, and painter born in Isleworth, Middlesex. He attended the Royal Academy Schools and between 1874 and 1877 was articled to William Reddall (1820-1898). He also worked as an assistant to Henry Saxon Snell (1830-1904) and to Robert William Edis (1839-1927) between 1877 and 1881. He commenced practice as an independent architect in 1882 and was in partnership with William Kidner (1841-1900) in London, England from 1890. Berry was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1879, and a Fellow in 1903. In addition to his work as an architect, Atkin-Berry was also a painter and stained glass designer. Between 1884 and 1907 he exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. He died in Worthing, Sussex.
