The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and notable water damage to the lower edge. There are also some minor scuffs to the frames edges.

Collection Information
William Evans was born in 1809 and was an English landscape paint. He was an associate member of the Old Society of Painters in Water-colours, where he exhibited as William Evans of Bristol. Born in Bristol, in his early years he was a pupil of Francis Danby and associated with the artists of the Bristol School.
