William Cruikshank

William Cruikshank (1848-1922) RCA was born in Scotland and was the great-nephew of artist George Cruikshank. He studied art at the Royal Scottish Academy and at the Royal Academy in London alongside John Everett Millais and Frederic Leighton.

In 1871, he moved to Canada and taught at the Central Ontario School of Art.
