William Collins R.A. - Original Early 19th Century Chalk Drawing. William Collins 1788-1847. Inscribed: Study for a large painting of a ferry crossing the Thames that hangs in the Haberdashers Hall. Provenance: Anthony Reed English Drawings and Paintings, Cork Street, London. Unsigned. The frame is good - it is gilt, and much lighter than it appears in the photo. On laid. In fine condition.
