William C. Clements (1903-1983) - Signed Charcoal Drawing, Portrait of a Man

An interesting charcoal portrait of a male sitter looking into the distance. This could be a preliminary sketch for another painting as portraits were a popular subject for the artist. Signed to the lower left. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and some small tears to the edges.

46.3 x 36.4cm (18.2" x 14.3")
Sheet: 51.6 x 39.4cm (20.3" x 15.5")
