Description
An impressive harbour scene by Dutch artist Willem Horselenberg (1881–1961), rendered in a loose, Impressionist style. Barges line the edge of the water, whilst a windmill stands in the distance. The work is signed to the lower left and is well presented in a gilt frame. On canvas on stretchers.Condition
Slight discolouration and areas of craquelure. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent restoration. Light wear to the frame. Overall, the artwork is in very good condition.
