A charming late 19th century watercolour by Will Anderson (fl.1880-1895), depicting figures carrying wicker baskets along a quiet country lane, with hens happily feeding on the grass verge outside the farmyard. The painting has been signed to the lower right-hand corner. Beautifully presented in a simple gilt frame and wash-line mount. Glazed.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame and mount are in fine condition.
