A charming small sepia etching by Wilfrid Williams Ball, depicting a sailing boat out on the open water in Venice. The print is signed in the plate to the lower right-hand corner. Also signed by the artist in graphite below the plate, addressed to a George Stevens. On wove.Condition
A previous mount has left a linear stain bordering the print in the margin. The overall condition of the picture is very good.

Artist Biography
Wilfred Williams Ball exhibited widely at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of Painters, Etchers and Engravers, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and many others. He became President of the Society of British Artists in 1886. He was also a member of The Arts Club from 1896 until 1916.
