An engraving with etching by Jeremias Wachsmuth (1712-1771) after Philips Wouwerman (1619-1668) depicting a hunting scene. Inscribed with the names of both artists and the title in plate. There is an identical impression in the Biblioteca National de Portugal dated between 1740 and 1760. On laid.Condition
Cropped within the plate lines. There are extensive losses to the substrate at the lower edge and some creases and losses at the corners. There are closed tears at the centre of the lower edge and at the lower-left corner. There is some dirt to the substrate as is typical for a work of this age.
