A charming early 20th Century etching showing the an old watermill in the Dutch town of Diepenheim, covered in snow. The artist has initialed and dated in plate to the lower left corner and signed indistinctly (possibly Willem Wigens) to the lower right. The etching is on watermarked paper from the Dutch paper suppliers Van Gelder Zonen. On watermarked laid.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Two strips of adhesive tape at the reverse at the top and bottom edges.
