The painting has two canvas repairs at the reverse, that have been restored at the front. There is some craquelure to the surface. The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame has several areas of loss and restoration. particularly at the two lower corners and there is some scratching to the frame at the lower edge of the cove.
