A charming late 19th-century watercolour depicting a farmer and his wife relocating their livestock to greener pastures. Presented in a beautiful gilt frame with an internal slip. Finished with swept rails, ornate acanthus mouldings, and glazing to the front. Signed by the artist in the lower left. On paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration to the watercolour and wear to the gilt frame. There is stable cracking and small repairs to all swept rails, and minor dirtying to the glazing.
