Description
A charming watercolours painting of the village of Shepperton in Surrey. The artist has depicted a huntsman on horseback clinking drinks in celebration with a friend, outside the local hotel-pub and church. Signed to the lower left-hand corner. Well presented in a slim gilt frame, with running mouldings and white mount. On watercolour paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. There have been several moulding losses to the right hand side of the frame, and a few light scratches to the glazing.
