Original 19th Century Writing Slope. A Victorian figured rosewood and brass writing slope of some quality. The lock is dodgy and has no key. The felt writing surface has deteriorated. The brass inlays are fine and the condition of the walnut and especially its figuring is superb. The ink bottle has some chips around its rim. 30 x 22 x 11 cm.
