A large and attractive Victorian petit point tapestry depicting two young girls with a deer and three dogs in a landscape. A castle can be seen on the far bank of a lake, and mountains span the horizon. The work is beautifully presented in an antique wooden frame. Unsigned. On cotton.

Condition

Overall, the condition is good for a needlework of this age. Some discolouration. Indent to the fabric in the lower right. Faint scratches and scuffs to the frame.
